Manhattan

JOE GARZONE

Description

Manhattan, designed by Joe Garzone, is conceived from the idea of a structure that grows in modules, like a city evolving over time. The bookcase is built through a rigorous grid, where solids and voids alternate, creating rhythm, depth and movement.

Each element is designed to dialogue with the whole: the shelves follow one another in an irregular yet balanced way, generating a dynamic composition that is never static. Objects find their place within this architecture, becoming part of an ever-evolving visual narrative.

Manhattan is not just a bookcase, but a display system that transforms the wall into a domestic urban landscape. A project that combines order and freedom, where the structure defines the language and the content brings it to life.
